It is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for the Hotel Engineering Team. We need an experienced, customer focused professional who is able to lead the team towards delivering exceptional guest services

What you will be doing:

• Management of the maintenance functions in the hotel to protect and maintain all plant, systems and equipment.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedule for all plant and machinery to optimize productivity and minimize down-time due to repairs
• Oversee maintenance department operations ensuring that all plant and equipment is monitored to ensure safety and comfort of guests and staff at all times
• Implement and monitor capex, repairs and maintenance expenditure to ensure budget compliance

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Manager or Chief Engineer in a similar sized hotel.
• Effective communication and leadership skills with proven ability to manage, motivate, develop and lead a team.
• Excellent planning and project management skills and ability to identify and provide solutions to engineering issues.
• Excellent working knowledge of air conditioning, water, electricity, fire alarm, construction and other plant systems to pro-actively manage preventative maintenance schedules and identify issues.
