James Madison University is accepting applications for a caring, energetic and organized professional to be a part of a student- centered and team-oriented program, as an Area Director.
Post Name:- Area Director – Office of Residence Life
Location:- Harrisonburg, VA (22807)
Responsibilities:-
- Responsibilities include supervising the performance of graduate and undergraduate Hall Directors and coordinating the overall management of residential living areas. Area Directors focus their efforts on staff development, student conduct and student learning. Some evening meetings are probable.
- A master’s degree in student personnel or a related field is required. Two years of full-time residence life experience is preferred. Other qualifications include student affairs experience, supervisory experience, student conduct experience, staff training experience and administrative and counselling experience. This is a live-out position.
