Invercargill City Holdings Limited (Holdco) invites applications for the appointment of an independent Director to the Board of IAL following the decision to expand the board.

It provides all airport related services for Invercargill and is the gateway to the city and the wider Southland and Fiordland regions. The primary focus for the Board is to ensure that the organisation has the infrastructure and appropriate asset management processes to ensure the airport remains operational and competitive in a fast-moving sector. The airport is in a strong growth phase and has an extensive development programme in place for its portfolio of aviation and property investments over the coming years.
This is an opportunity that will appeal to either an experienced director, or a person earlier in their governance career and seeking an opportunity to contribute to the leadership of a key regional infrastructure asset.
Candidates must be local to Invercargill or Southland and have strong community and business connections and networks.

This should be supported by proven strategic thinking abilities and commercial acumen and a sound appreciation of the governance role.
