Post Name: Building Control Compliance Officer

This is a general building control position that will cover building activities as well as compliance duties. You will ideally hold a National Diploma in Building Control Surveying or similar qualification and have experience within the regulatory environment of local government. While some previous experience is preferred, we are open to applicants from all levels.

The Council has funding from the Mayor’s Taskforce for Jobs to assist with creating a local employability programme to strengthen transition into employment. We are looking for a capable person with excellent customer service and administration skills, an affinity with young people who can foster and build relationships and who has an understanding of business.
